The Nordic Floyd Show - A spectacular tribute to a Pink Floyd`s masterpiece in the town of Moss, Norway

Stepping into Parkteatret in Moss on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, felt like stepping into another dimension - full of thundering sounds and light effects. There was Pink Floyd’s legendary music reborn in all its glory. The Nordic Floyd Show, Norway’s renowned tribute band, once again proved why they have earned such high praise for their authentic and electrifying renditions of the classics.

This time, they took the audience on a full journey through Wish You Were Here, performing the entire album with the same depth and soul that made Pink Floyd iconic. But it wasn’t just about the music - the band wove together dazzling light shows and mesmerizing visual effects, crafting an atmosphere that felt almost surreal.

For those in the crowd, it wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience - one that lingered long after the final note faded. No wonder the Nordic Floyd Show continues to leave audiences spellbound, time and time again. 1 hour 30 minutes of captivating sounds and light effects took the audience to great hights.

In 2025, Pink Floyd’s legendary album Wish You Were Here celebrates its 50th anniversary. To mark this milestone, The Nordic Floyd Show is set to honour this magnificent classic with a breathtaking multimedia experience that captures every nuance of emotion - from delicate, heart-wrenching beauty to raw, unrelenting musical intensity that will leave you utterly speechless.

Released in 1975, Wish You Were Here is widely regarded as one of Pink Floyd’s three greatest masterpieces, standing proudly alongside Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall. The album is a stunning and majestic tribute to Syd Barrett, the former band member and friend who tragically succumbed to the effects of drug experimentation. Songs like Shine On You Crazy Diamond and the haunting title track are direct reflections of this, and the album as a whole is an artistic triumph - mesmerising with its intricate composition, enigmatic, alienated lyrics, and an achingly beautiful soundscape.

As well as performing Wish You Were Here in its entirety, the show featured a selection of timeless classics from other legendary Pink Floyd albums.

About The Nordic Floyd Show

Based on information on their Facebook page:
Renowned as Norway’s finest Pink Floyd tribute, The Nordic Floyd Show (formerly Dark Side of the Wall / DSOTW Norway) has already achieved the ultimate recognition - being praised by their own idols.

None other than Roger Waters himself once described them as “F*ing brilliant”**, and over the past two decades, they have played to packed venues, even making history as the first and only Pink Floyd tribute act to perform at the Oslo Opera House (2024).

The Norwegian media, Bergens Tidende, hailed their performance as “grand and impressive in every way”, calling it “a spectacular show that unquestionably ranks among the finest of its kind.”

Fuelled by a lifelong passion for Pink Floyd’s music, the band’s journey began as an explosive force from their very first rehearsal. Since then, Helge Nyheim (vocals/drums), Bjarte Aasmul (guitar/vocals), Kai Taule (bass/vocals), and Dag Øivind Rebnord (keyboards/visual FX) have refined their concept into a spellbinding multimedia production.

The band has also collaborated with international guest artists, including Ian Ritchie (UK, Roger Waters’ band), Sharon Gaynor (Ireland, Breathe), and Tine Taule, among others.

Don’t miss this extraordinary celebration of Pink Floyd’s music - an unforgettable evening of sound, visuals, and emotion! Take a look at their Facebook page The Nordic Floyd Show and book your concert there.
