Unusual find in the Baltic Sea - What`s underground? A UFO?

2012-06-11
CNN reported in 25th January 2012, that Swedish treasure hunters have captured images of a mysterious object in the Baltic Sea in June 2011.

It's estimated around 100,000 objects, mostly shipwrecks, are littered throughout the Baltic. Deep-sea salvage company Ocean Explorer uses sonar imaging to search for wrecks. Deep down on the bottom of the Baltic Sea, Swedish treasure hunters think they have made the find of a lifetime. The problem is, they're not exactly sure what it is they've uncovered. Out searching for shipwrecks at a secret location between Sweden and Finland, the deep-sea salvage company Ocean Explorer captured an incredible image more than 80 meters below the water's surface. At first glance, team leader and commercial diver Peter Lindberg joked that his crew had just discovered an unidentified flying object, or UFO.

At the moment, in June 2012, Ocean X Team reports on its website (7th June 2012) that the divers are now down and investigating the circle and reports from the ship say they are really amazed. There is definitely something unusual hiding at the seabed – a Mystery Beneath. More information and pictures will be released soon.

Additional information Ocean X Team has been conducting various diving excursions in North Europe for over 20 years. Their main focus has been to search for hidden treasures such as antique high-end alcoholic beverages and historic artefacts. Some excursions include the salvaging of champagne bottles from the wreck “Jönköping” in 1997. The treasure hunters, Peter Lindberg, Dennis Åsberg have been in the maritime industry since 1995.
