Reiseliv, Norwegian International Meeting & Travel Fair, 11 - 14 January 2007, Lillestrøm, Oslo!

The summer holiday is over for most people. Many of them have already started to look for new travel adventures. The Norway International Meeting and Travel Fair - Reiseliv, is an arena where people with passion for travelling can get inspirations and find tour operators who can realize their travel dreams! It`s also possible for travel companies to find business partners her. This travel fair has its doors open from 11 to 14 January 2007. The arrangement is something for everyone!

The Reiseliv Travel Fair is the first step to explore the world. The organiser Reiseliv has 20 years of experience in organising meeting arenas for the travel industry. The travel fair Reiseliv is a major event in the prosperous Norwegian market, and over 28.000 travel enthusiasts visited the previous travel fair at Lillestrøm, Oslo, in January 2006.

This arrangment was represented with more than 1000 exhibitors from over 60 nations. The travel fair here had more exhibitors and a larger area than ever, which demonstrate the big interest for various kind of travelling and adventures.

Meeting business partners
The exhibition is trade only open all Thursday and on Friday until 14.00. Admission in this period will be confined to the trade and professional buyers from industry, organisations and the public sector.

Based on information from the organisation Reiseliv, 78 per cent of the trade visitors have fully or partly buying responsibility, and 74 per cent of the exhibitors said that they established contacts at the fair which they ment would lead to sales/ contracts.
 
Meeting travellers

On Friday at 1400 the exhibition opens for the public. Based on information from Reiseliv, travellers are planning an average of two to three holiday trips during the year. No less than 77 per cent of visitors to Reiseliv say they will probably take a holiday trip based on information gained at the show.

Positive trend
According to the organiser Reiseliv, people worldwide are travelling as never before. Reiseliv has noted the effects of this positive trend in that the travel trade is making a bigger commitment than before to this event.

Smaller niche operators offering adventure travel, and tour operators providing tailored packages for various target groups are continuing to expand their presence.

Hvitserk is probably one of the most professional tour operators in marketing work, not only in Norway, but also internationally. This tour operator organised several presentations for travellers during the travel fair in 2006. They also know how to capture clients and follow them up.

This travel fair is a combination of seminars and arena for facilitating contacts. It offers great opportunities for both travel companies and travellers. Here it`s possible to get inspiration, be updated about news in the travel industry and establish new valuable contacts. See you there!
