The orang asli called the creature Jarang Gigi as there
were gaps in between its teeth.
State National Parks Corporation director Hashim
Yusoff dismissed the claims as baseless as there was no scientific evidence to
show that the creature actually existed in the jungles of Johor. Read more

True or false? Some one believes in Bigfoot, other
believes in drakes. It's the fact that there are millions of undiscovered
animals and insects on our globe. In the beginning of December previous year WWF
of a unknown animal in Borneo`s jungle. So far WWF researchers have not yet
determined whether this is an entirely new species or if it is a new species of
marten or civet cat, which looks like a cross between a cat and a fox (source:
reported on WWF`s website 6 December 2005: www.panda.org).
The hunting goes on in some areas around the world. Why is this creature
so difficult to observe when its so big?

Additional information
There are legends about
the Bigfoot in Pacific Northwest of America. It's a big, hairy, ape-like
monster. Bigfoot, or
as it's often called in Canada, the Sasquatch, is mentioned in several
native American legends. In fact, the term "Sasquatch" is Indian for "hairy giant."
As a parallel to Bigfoot, there are legends about the Yeti. A Japanese
expedition has recently searched for the Yeti in Nepal, but so far there as been
no resultats.
The Yeti is a mythical creature believed to live in
the Himalayas. It's popularly known as "the abominable snowman". Numerous sightings of the
Yeti have been reported.
Yoshiteru Takahashi`s, camera froze in 1994 when he tried to photograph the
denizens of the cave, he said in Tokyo before he left.
In previous year (2005), he used nine infrared cameras with motion sensitive
shutters, and wrapped them up well against the Himalayan chill. "We'll get a
picture this time," he said, "and then all disbelievers will learn their
lessons."
So far there has been no evidences about the mysterious creature. It is
just a myth developed from people`s imaginations?
