The meaning of Christmas is said to be spreading love and peace among fellow human beings, so what could be better than giving something useful to people who really need it?
The mentioned world famous song, "Do They Know It's Christmas?", is a song written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in 1984. The idea was to raise money for relief of 1984–1985 famine in Ethiopia. So Band Aid become founded, a charity supergroup featuring British and Irish musicians and recording artists. And of course most people remember the fantastic concert on Wembley Stadium with various artists performing their song to support the campaigne. The Band Aid project inspired other charity records around the world, as We Are the World by USA for Africa in the United States.
I will also say that spending vacations in snow white Norway would be great way to celebrate Christmas. It would be a lifetime experience for you. Norwegians decorate their homes with Christmas tree, juletre, spruce or pine tree. Christmas tree in Norway is usually decorated with apples, candles, red harts, cornets, straw ornaments, tinsels etc. The best of all is meeting the genuine Santa Claus.
Merry Christmas from Moss in Norway! Home to be the Mossenissen, Santa Claus from Mosseskogen, Moss forest.
