The Cesis Castle is surrounded with parks and lakes. This makes the castle incredibly beautiful. The town's people have just let everything grow which gives it a spooky medieval feel. Walking through the ruins this day was just perfect for getting a feeling of an unique atmosphere. We were alone in the castle and the grey wheather gave the castle an even more spooky impression.

It’s hard to say which is the greatest, but one thing I am sure of: the discovery of the Tahiti must been like coming to a paradise people didn’t believe would exist in real. Captain Cook and his crew got a pretty warm welcome that melted their hearts.

Excavations at Durrington Walls, near the legendary Salisbury Plain monument, uncovered recently an ancient village found near Stonehenge. Archaeologists believe that people who lived in this settlement built the mysterious circle shaped stone structure Stonehenge.

The Indonesian representatives hope that tourists will rediscover the country after the tragic tsunami disaster. The name Indonesia was derived from "indos nesos", meaning islands near India. One of the greatest attactions in Indonesia is the Borobudur temple.

Representatives I talked were little bit disappointed due to the drop in number of visitors compared with previous the year, but I could observe a large number of visitors rushing in on Sunday afternoon.

I was delighted to observe that Peru was represented with its own stand this year, the tour operator Coex Amazon. It’s so much undiscovered in the country, especially in the dense jungles. Coex Amazon is established and managed by a mixed marriage between Peru and Norway: Laura and Øyvind Wesseltoft. According to Lonely Planet it's the multicultural layers of great civilisations that make Peru so intriguing.
