Photo. Hiawata, the rock goes on at the Last Train in Oslo.
Hiawata has released four critically acclaimed albums since 2007, several radio listings and has been noticed worldwide from Japan to South America and the USA.
Last Train is a pub and concert venue in the centre of Oslo. The venue opened its doors in 1984 and has since the first concert over 30 years ago established itself as one of the most important meeting places for Oslo's and Scandinavia's rock scene. Last Train is not just a pub and a concert venue, but an institution in Oslo's nightlife and a hotbed of the city's rock scene. A great deal has changed in the streets around Karl Johan and Universitetsgata over the past 36 years, but the Last Train is still standing.
Hiawata started in 2007. Hiawata`s music is pleasantly rattle pop/rock. Sometimes it sounds little bit as punk. For they who like jangling, shimmering guitars, with a hint of "shoe gaze", classified as "Indie pop" with vocal harmonies that soar, Hiawate is a must.
After a long time since the band members played together the crowd was full of expectation, and they didn't disappoint. In the concerty their songs sounded good and fresh. They had a interaction with the crowd and their consert rattled through the late evening. Easy catching songs with some sing along factor. The highlight for me was the song «Take me» from my favourite album The Darkside (2014), but also other part of the audience rose to big heights when the band played this song. All in all a good concert that made people happy. Their songs bring the best mood in me.
Hope they gonna release a new album one day.
