You can get information about job vacancies in 31 European countries, CVs from interested candidates, living and working conditions abroad and much more brought to you by the EURES network.
For they who would like to experience other countries and at the same time work, EURES could be a useful source and tool to start with. According to the organisation EURES` website (Jobs in Europe - EURES) on 14 September 2009 there is 734 746 job vacancies, 341 865 CVs and 19 983 employers registered.
The European Unions principle of free movement of workers means that you can get a job in any country of the European Union, as well as in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (also known as the EEA countries) and Switzerland.
The purpose of EURES is to provide information, advice and recruitment/-placement (job-matching) services for the benefit of workers and employers as well as any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of the free movement of persons.
EURES has a human network of more than 700 EURES advisers that are in daily contact with jobseeker and employers across Europe.
The EURES Job Mobility Portal provides information tools which aim to give help and support when considering moving to or recruiting from another country. The Living and Working Conditions database contains details on a number of important issues such as finding accommodation, finding a school, taxes, cost of living, health, social legislation, comparability of qualifications, etc.
