According to National Geographic (www.NationalGeographic.com), 5 June 2008, Egyptian archaeologists dig about a year and a half to unveil the pyramid.
Archaeologists believe that the pyramid belonged to Pharaoh Menkauhor, who they assumed ruled for eight years in the mid-2400s B.C. The digging also revealed a new part of a sacred road at the site that is thought to have been used for processions of mummified royal bulls.
