Wild, wild Africa.
The law of the jungle. That`s the hard life here.
All creatures are made for hunting in their genes just
for the survival of the fittest. The cheeta is no exception!
Cheetahs hunt in the late morning and early evening.
They capture their prey by stalking, until they prey is within 10-30 meters,
before chasing. Their killer instinct is good. The prey is suffocated when a
cheetahs bites the underside of the throat.
Their
endurance are extremely short. Chases last about 20 seconds, and rarely longer then 1
minute - even they fail and are real hungry. About half of the chases are
successful, but what about this one on the video film below?

Sometimes the wildlife is real amazing!

world's cheetahs.
As
Namibia has
the largest and healthiest population of cheetahs left in the world, CCF's
International Research and Education Centre is based in
Namibia, near Otjiwarongo.
