Connecting adventure travellers and tour operators - Travel Explorations

During 6 years we Travel Explorations have facilitated contacts directly between travellers and tour operators. Connecting is our main business concept. It`s made available through our internet portal solution. Our travel guide and global market place is dedicated to provide both travellers and tour operators with the service, skills, people and experiences. This is necessary needs in a dynamically changing world where people look for unique adventures and there are many tour offers. Our value-added, partnership-based approach is what drives our tour operators' success. For travellers it means great adventures, and for tour operators it means more travellers and growth in their business. Our travellers would like to go to Tanzania, Kilimanjaro, Iran, Kenya, Cambodia, Vietnam, Iceland, Thailand, Jordan, Malta, Svalbard, Norway and many other places around the world.

Connecting has enabled tour operators to be visible for travellers, and present their adventure tours. Through our proven services, products, methodologies and flexible, client-focused service, we help tour operators to take their marketing initiatives from ideas, initial planning through to completion.

Our success is built on relationships with our partners (tour operators) and our staff. That's because we know that it isn't about the campaigns as a product, it's about the people. And the people are what make us all succeed. By working close with tour operators, we are together able to work targeted and achieve the best out of our common marketing resources.

We provide three main approaches to assisting tour operators and other travel companies in attracting travellers:

1. Advertising and running of several kind of campaigns through our global travel guide Travel Explorations.
2. Advertising and running of campaigns in external media.
3. Improving of websites, or implementing of new websites, with selling points, company presentations, specific attractive tour offers, inspiring articles and photos.

How to handle the respons from potential customers?
That`s the most critical part of selling: closing! It doesen`t help much to attract thousands of potential clients (travellers) to tour operators` website if they don`t have a proffesional looking website, with useful and inspiring information.

According to Gartner Group, 50% of web sales are lost due to the fact that customers do not find accurate, updated, and relevant product information on companies` website. They go elsewhere or use a different channel!

If doesen`t help much either if tour operators don`t have capacity to handle the customer response and give good offers. Remember, you are as an tour operators selling "trust". For they who would like to work with us in Travel Explorations, we make sure that everything is well prepared before we start our campaigns to achieve success. It`s your value for the money!

We in Travel Explorations make tour operators` marketing strategy and efforts comprehensive. It doesn`t means that it has to be complex process, but the work has to be done professionally. Then visitors on your website will be turned to be customers (from looking to booking).
