Cecilie Skog become the first woman who reached the North Pole from land!

On late Monday evening 24 April 2006, the Norwegian Cecilie Skog become the first woman who reach the North Pole from land! Before that Cecilie become the third Norwegian to reach all the 7 Summits, and the first woman in Norway and Scandinavia to reach all the 7 Summits. Now Cecilie and her tour mates Rolf Bae (31) og Per-Henry Borch (35) have reached the North Pole after 49 day hard workt. Now Cecilie has become the first woman in the world to reach all the seven tallest mountains on the seven continents and also reaching the three poles Mount Everest, the South Pole and the North Pole. She has written polar history with her last expedition to walk from land to the North Pole as the first woman.
