This country offers the perfect trip, according to the British travel magazine, Lonely Planet in a 15-page article on northern Norway and the Arctic Norway. The article boasts of travel experiences as going on king crab safari in Jarfjord, dog sledding in Karasjok, one night in Kirkenes ice hotel and the experience of seeing the northern lights.

The magazine is issued by BBC, and sells over 54,000 copies per month.

On 1 October 2007, a 75% stake in the company was purchased by BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation, with the Wheelers retaining the other 25%. The Wheelers announced that this was so they could spend more time travelling.
